Lakeland Care is dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve, therefore, we offer paid volunteer time off (VTO) to our employees.


As a mission driven organization that strives to enrich the lives of those we support, it’s equally important to us that our employees have opportunities for enrichment as well. Our workplace culture is so important to us that we have an internal committee dedicated to it! 

To maintain and enhance LCI’s hallmark outstanding support for members, Lakeland Care recognizes that successful, well-supported, engaged employees deliver outstanding member outcomes and therefore operates under the principle that employees should be recognized for their own personal strengths and be given opportunities to perform their work where they are most effective. 

The climate of our workplace is one in which employees experience a sense of connectedness to our organizational values, mission and vision while maintaining harmony between their personal and professional lives. 


Another way our employees give back to their communities is through Lakeland Care’s C.A.R.E. for a Cause program. LCI’s C.A.R.E. Committee selects a local charitable organization bi-weekly for staff to donate money to through payroll deduction. One hundred percent of funds raised are donated to the selected non-profit organization.
