My role at Lakeland Care is a Care Management Supervisor, and working here means that I am able to help the individuals that live not only in my local community, but surrounding communities, to ensure their needs are being met to remain living as independent as possible in their home. (I accepted an opportunity outside of Lakeland Care,) however, I noticed that LCI’s values of Kindness, Inclusion and Trust were not something I saw within that organization. I missed these values that I had seen and felt in LCI for the past few years. That really is what brought me back to LCI, the values at Lakeland Care are something I try to incorporate in every aspect of my life from parenting to work.
