Lakeland provides new opportunities for staff to live the LCI mission forward
Lakeland Care Inc. (LCI) is proud to announce an increase in our commitment to serving the community through the introduction of 24 hours of volunteer time off (VTO) for all fulltime staff annually. Our aim is to empower our staff to make a meaningful impact in their communities, all while creating a world we all want to live in.
VTO is a flexible and empowering way for staff to give back to their communities while also benefiting themselves. Research has shown that volunteer work can improve mental and physical health, increase job satisfaction, and boost morale. By providing 24 hours of VTO, LCI is providing our staff with an opportunity to make a difference outside of their traditional scope of service within LCI.
Our commitment to serving the community through VTO demonstrates our dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need and promoting the spirit of volunteerism. We believe that by providing our staff with the opportunity to volunteer, we are strengthening our relationship with the community, all while creating a world we all want to live in.
