In selecting its next CEO Lakeland Care’s Board of Directors conducted a broad search to find the most qualified candidate to lead the organization.  “We were gratified to receive interest from several talented and well-qualified individuals,” noted Jim Brey, President of Lakeland Care’s Board of Directors.  “Throughout our search Sara’s passion for Lakeland Care’s mission and her dedication to supporting the independence of the people we serve, combined with her commitment to Lakeland Care and its employees, shone through and stood out.  Her unique combination of enthusiasm, experience, skills and accomplishments, made it clear that she is the right person to lead Lakeland Care.”

“I am truly inspired by the opportunity to lead Lakeland Care and support its dedication to helping people live their most independent life,” said Muhlbauer.  “I look forward to continuing Lakeland Care’s growth and evolution as a successful nonprofit company, long into the future.”
