Lakeland Care, Inc. Offers Free Support to Caregivers in Wisconsin

Lakeland Care, Inc. (LCI), an organization focused on building better lives through programs that care for and inspire our communities, is joining with Pyx Health to provide free compassionate support for all caregivers in Wisconsin, starting November 15th. Pyx is already a benefit many Lakeland Care members have been using and enjoying.

A caregiver is anyone (paid or unpaid) who regularly looks after or provides care to another individual. Caregiving comes with unique challenges and stresses. As a caregiver in the Pyx program, you will receive:

  • Free, unlimited calls to the trained staff who understand the challenges of caregiving.
  • Activities and tools to support you as a caregiver and help you feel less alone.
  • Access to resources like support groups, mental health resources, and community resources.

“Caregivers do so much for others, and at Lakeland Care, we want them to know they are not alone. Our commitment to helping improve the lives of those we serve extends to our community. We are excited to offer this opportunity to any caregiver who can benefit from this program, whether they are part of Lakeland Care or not,” said Jenifer Harrison, Chief Program Officer for Lakeland Care. “It’s a confidential, easy, and individualized program to use. Caregivers can use this anytime that works for them. Download the app and get started. It’s that easy!”

Caregivers are not alone. Sign up for the Pyx Health program using the code “lakeland.” When Pyx supports caregivers with compassion and understanding, they and the ones they care for will benefit. The Pyx app is free for all caregivers in Wisconsin to download and use. No affiliation with Lakeland Care is required. Download the Pyx Health app on your phone or tablet to get started. Sign up is also available on the web at PyxHealth.com/store-download or call 1-855-499-4777 (TTY:711)
