Lakeland Care Hosts Health and Wellness Fair

Lakeland Care is continuing the mission of building better lives through programs that care for and inspire our communities by hosting a Health and Wellness Fair. The Fair will be held Friday, September 29th, 11 am to 3 pm at the Fond du Lac office at N6654 Rolling Meadows Drive.  

 

“At Lakeland Care, it is our goal to foster our community members’ engagement in their personal wellness and healthy, balanced lifestyles,” said Sara Muhlbauer, CEO of LCI. “At the end of the day, there’s nothing more important than health, and having strong community connections is crucial for our members to live their happiest and most fulfilled lives.” 

 

Admission to the Fair is free, as are most of the activities. The event is open to the general public. 

 

Several activities and presentations are scheduled for the Health and Wellness Fair. Some of the activities and exhibitors include:

  • Big Blue Yummy Hang 10 Poké Food Truck  
  • Blood Pressure Screening 
  • Chameleon Mobile Food Truck 
  • Chair Massages (10-minute massage for $10) 
  • Church Health Services 
  • Coffee and Hot Chocolate Bar Hosted by the FdL School District WINGS Program 
  • Community Blood Center Blood Drive (10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) 
  • Fond du Lac Area United Way 
  • Fond du Lac Senior Center 
  • Hearing Screenings provided by Affordable Audiology and Hearing Service 
  • Mom’s Meals 
  • Network Health 
  • Saving Sully Dog Rescue 
  • SSM Health Greater Fond du Lac Region, SSM Health Home Medical Equipment 
  • The Arc of Fond du Lac 
  • Town of Fond du Lac Fire Trucks and Ambulance tours 
  • Vaccine Clinic hosted by Walgreens Pharmacy

1:45 pm:  Advocate-Aurora Chiropractic Educator – Physical Activity and Injury Prevention   

 

2:30 pm:  Lakeland Care – Advance Directives with workshop to follow
