Shortages of Personal Protective Equipment

Fellow Wisconsin businesses,

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused countrywide shortages of Personal Protective Equipment (known as PPE). PPE consists of gloves, masks, gowns, and face shields, and our network of over 2,000 providers throughout Wisconsin is in desperate need of this equipment.

Who is Lakeland Care– We are a Wisconsin based Medicaid funded Managed Care Organization that provides the Family Care benefit to Wisconsin’s most vulnerable residents, which includes intellectually/developmentally disabled, physically disabled, and frail elders.

What are we asking for– Any PPE you would be willing to donate to help the people on the ground fighting this pandemic.

Why are we making this ask– As you may know COVID-19 has all but shut down our country and has decimated the supply of necessary PPE for caregivers, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. This donation will allow caregivers to continue the important work they do in caring for our most vulnerable Wisconsin residents in local communities.

How to donate– Please contact a local provider of your choice from link below: https://www.lakelandcareinc.com/providers/

Donations of any size will be a tremendous help, thank you in advance for your partnership and willingness to support the communities we live and work in.

Together,

Mike Kristmann,

LCI Network Relations Director
