Chief Program Officer
Jen Harrison is the Chief Program Officer (CPO) for Lakeland Care, Inc., responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the organization.
Jen has a wealth of knowledge of the Family Care industry, having worked in Wisconsin’s innovative Family Care program since its inception over 20 years ago. Prior to joining Lakeland Care in 2018, she held executive roles as Vice President of Care Management Practice, and Chief Operations Officer for other Managed Care Organizations as well as leadership roles at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and MetaStar, Wisconsin’s Quality Improvement Organization. Jen also has clinical and leadership experience in hospice, nursing home and community care management.
Her leadership philosophy is deeply rooted in servant leadership. She believes that to provide excellence in care, leaders must strive for an engaged workforce, where people are working every day using their strengths. In addition, Jen believes in the power of collaboration to stay in the forefront of innovation within our long-term care system. Helping people live their lives fully by allowing them choice, focusing on individual strengths, and providing access to timely supports and services when they are needed is important to her.
As CPO at Lakeland Care, she is privileged to support four divisions: Care Management, Enrollment & Eligibility, Prevention & Wellness and Quality.
Jen previously served on the NAMI WI board and is actively involved in numerous stakeholder workgroups.
She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree (BSW) from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Master of Social Work degree (MSW) from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. She holds certifications as an Advanced Practice Social Worker (WI), a Health Care Quality Professional (CPHQ) as well as certifications in Servant Leadership, Change Management, and Mediation.
Jen enjoys spending time with her husband Paul, her sons Kyle and Robbie and their families and especially enjoys time with her four granddaughters. She is an avid reader and dog lover with two rescue pups named Greta and Nevvi.
